The plot is set in the confused period following the political transformation, which ended the communist era in Hungary, when everybody tried to get by as best they could among the changed circumstances. Into this are thrown two wide-boy policemen, Ric and Enduro, who begin an investigation after finding weapons hidden among a delivery of melons, with the hope that solving the case will bring them promotion. But as is usually the case, the evidence points to the top, and instead of being singled out for distinction the two heroes find themselves in a truck bound for Iran.
The film has a peculiar way of looking at things and a dialogue that leans toward the absurd, and indeed everything you dare imagine.
