Beginning of 1944. Winter, we are in a peaceful middle-class home of a small Hungarian town, a finefeatured young girl is writing in her diary. The events put in the diary, fragmented as memories are, loom up more like the pictures of a kaleidoscope. Elements of dream and reality are mixed. Individual and general characteristics of the young girl’s life. It is a strange process light and airy at times and painfully aggravated at other times. The fine threads of the process are more and more infiltrated, opened and finally torn by the aggressive attack of history from the outside.
