One night Csulánó leaves and goes out into the wilderness; to a large forest where he follows a narrow path - when he notices that … Well, Jankó will tell you how Csulánó met the devil. Csulánó is a master thief. All thieves know him well. He steals everything and anything: chicks from underneath a hatcher, a cap from a cop’s head, and once the Moon itself – that big piece of cheese. One question remains; is there enough to steal in this world to feed all those hungry mouths back at home? Jankó also tells you how that unknown little lieutenant showed up at the village outskirts, then fooled around with Mariska, Csulánó’s daughter, ending up with… a typical wedding. Some wedding - entire aristocracy dancing in Csulánó’s hut; the military lined up, top officers like lap-dogs before the clubfooted groom. Partying away for seven days and seven nights, rum flooding into the streets, dogs gobbling roast, cats swigging brandy. Though the wedding night sees the happy groom flee.
