“When one is so young, it doesn’t matter if one is a boy or a girl…” An absurd, forbidden, ridiculous, yet sacred and yes, respectful story about love, in which love happens to evolve between two men. At almost 50, Tibor is a rather unsuccessful Hungarian writer, but an attractive and elegant man. His Wife, the once well-known actress is still quite pretty, but lately appears only on provincial stages. Their marriage and careers declining, their hearts burning out, they still share one common feeling: the fear of getting old. And then, quite unexpectedly, a young Boy with nothing to lose sets an eye on Tibor. The Boy wants to flee from home by any means necessary and uses his body for the breakthrough as his only tool. Tibor falls for the Boy, thinks he is in love with him, and, no matter what his senses say, deliberately ignores what is happening to him. The film tells the story of their love and of the lies among which they all live. Their lives are determined by a feeling of rootlessness after the change in political regime and by the pressure to meet the expectations of this new life. Unnoticed, a new character appears in the story – perhaps already present earlier, or maybe even the cause of it all from the beginning: destiny.
