Juli leaves home on her bike one day and forgets her compass. She wants to go to the North, in the mountains. By the time night falls, she gets lost. Her father sends Misi, ”the motorist” to find her. The two different journeys draw up a map of a strange country, where travelers and inhabitants are equally strangers. ”Once there was a sea here”. This is where the mazes lead to and this is where Juli has to return from.
