The world of this minimalist film is set against a background of paintings. While alienating the viewer from the reality of the situation, it also invites us to accept the surreal spaces as reality and to experience the emotional and spiritual threads of the story here.

The story was inspired by the painting Il quarto stato (1901) by Giuseppe Pellizza da Volpedo.
