Romeo Baradlay Junior, alias Professor Albeit shares his apartment with his father, Romeo Baradlay Senior, a hyper-active music teacher and a cockatoo. Since his wife left him for a bald guy, he has been buying him a bunch of flowers every year. He wanted to be a conjurer, but he is a teacher of math and physics. Regarding his views he is about a hundred years behind his age, but counts faster than the most modern calculators. He likes to examine questions from all possible angles, that is why they call him Albeit. And for his strange expressions. He is ridiculous and lovable. In the Bajza High School he has never been given a class, but he is always ready to substitute for others. A seemingly average day, however, brings about a dramatic change in his life. Sheer luck and the school master take him to class 4c, where he has to substitute for the German teacher. After making relative order with his pop-gun, he presents conjuring tricks to a bunch of screaming pupils. He has to flee the classroom, his clothes burnt and smoking. He bumps into a beautiful woman, who turns out to be no other than Timea Kapy from 4c, a national fencer. Professor Albeit is still dizzy with love, when he is appointed to be the class-master of 4c. This is where his real ordeal begins. Love – misunderstood, a spinster – rejected, strange misunderstandings, a real party at a fantastic school excursion, heaven and hell, a little bit of going nuts… Eventually a happy and surprising home-run with a lot of love and humor.
