(1937, Galánta - 1999, Budapest)He graduated from the Academy for Theatre and Film Arts as a director in 1961, in Félix Máriássy’s class. He was one of the founding members of the Béla Balázs Studio. He made his first feature film in collaboration with his class-mate, János Rózsa in 1965. In 1976 he was manager of the Objektív Film Studio and from 1992 he was managing director and producer of the Budapest Film Studio.
